چکیده
In this paper, we describe the International Computer Science Institute’s (ICSI’s) multimodal video location estimation system presented at the MediaEval 2011 Placing Task. We describe how textual, visual, and audio cues were integrated into a multimodal location estimation system.

The 2014 ICSI/TU Delft Location Estimation System
In this paper, we describe the ICSI/TU Delft video location estimation system presented at the MediaEval 2014 Placing Task. We describe two text-based approaches based on spatial variance and graphical model framework, a visualcontent-based geo-visual ranking approach, and a multi-modal approach that combines the text and visual-based algorithms.

In this paper, we describe the ICSI/Berkeley video location estimation system presented at the MediaEval 2012 Placing Task. We describe the graphical model based framework that poses the geo-tagging problem as inference over the graph. Our algorithm jointly estimates the geo-locations of all the test videos, which helps obtain performance improvements over existing algorithms in the literature ...
متن کاملImproved Channel Estimation for DVB-T2 Systems by Utilizing Side Information on OFDM Sparse Channel Estimation
The second generation of digital video broadcasting (DVB-T2) standard utilizes orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system to reduce and to compensate the channel effects by utilizing its estimation. Since wireless channels are inherently sparse, it is possible to utilize sparse representation (SR) methods to estimate the channel. In addition to sparsity feature of the channel, the...
متن کاملAn Improved Motion Vector Estimation Approach for Video Error Concealment Based on the Video Scene Analysis
In order to enhance the accuracy of the motion vector (MV) estimation and also reduce the error propagation issue during the estimation, in this paper, a new adaptive error concealment (EC) approach is proposed based on the information extracted from the video scene. In this regard, the motion information of the video scene around the degraded MB is first analyzed to estimate the motion type of...
متن کاملNew adaptive interpolation schemes for efficient meshbased motion estimation
Motion estimation and compensation is an essential part of existing video coding systems. The mesh-based motion estimation (MME) produces smoother motion field, better subjective quality (free from blocking artifacts), and higher peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) in many cases, especially at low bitrate video communications, compared to the conventional block matching algorithm (BMA). Howev...
